If the award you are judging is vote-based, you have two ways to make your selection:
- From the review dialog
- From the finalists tab for the award's award page
Typically, when a judge is reviewing a finalist and that one is their “favorite up to this point”, they can simply select “Make this selection my choice” link at the bottom of the review dialog. The review dialog is one of the places where you watch a nominee. You access it by selecting the award you are judging, navigating to the “finalists” tab, and selecting a finalist.
Once you have watched everything and want to change your vote, you don't have to go back into the review dialog to place the vote. You can simply select the “make a pick” link in the finalists tab and select one of the finalists from the list.
Any time you make a pick using either approach, your vote is pending. Nothing happens until you finalize the vote or the judging deadline passes. DO NOT FINALIZE YOUR VOTE UNTIL YOU HAVE TALKED TO YOUR FELLOW JURORS. You cannot make changes once you finalize a vote.
