When you first register, we receive your name and email address from your identity provider of choice. If your identity provider is Apple, this email address may be a private address. If your identity provider is Google, we also receive your avatar/headshot.
As you interact with a festival, we will also store:
- Any content you have watched
- Any content you have added to your favorites/watch list
- Any projects you have entered into the festival
- Any judging you have done as part of a jury
- Language and other profile preferences
- Purchases
We DO NOT store your credit card information. We use Stripe for secure credit card processing. When you make a purchase, the credit card information goes straight to Stripe. If you elect to have that credit card stored for future purchases, that credit is stored with Stripe. At no point does SparqFest actually see your credit card information or store it.
In the rare instances we store any data that might be considered sensitive (jury notes is one example), that data is stored encrypted in our database.
